The Prefecture of Viotia belongs in Central Greece and is situated between the prefectures of Fokida, Fthiotida and Attica. It is a flat and very fertile area. The mountainous areas of the prefecture are limited to the slopes of Elikonas, Kitheronas and Parnassos.
